I started working with Emilee about five weeks ago. As a triathlete, runner and group exercise instructor that works out approximately six days a week, I recognized I hit a wall. My body weight and fat had plateaued and I knew it had everything to do with my nutrition. Emilee has helped me recognize the value of protein and the importance of pre/post workout nutrition. I have also seen how beneficial it is to eat small meals every 2-3 hours instead of larger meals every 4-5 hours. Being vegetarian, this was extra challenging for Emilee but she did additional research to make sure we were identifying the right foods (high protein/low calories). Emilee has gotten me past my wall - I have dropped about six pounds and cannot wait to measure my body fat next week... If you are an athlete looking for that extra step to maximize your workouts and take your body to the next level, speak with Emilee. Her tough love attitude is what helped someone like me get the most out of my workouts and I now see food as fuel! Feeling good and looking great is always worth the little bit of cash and extra effort. Plus, Matrix is a warm environment and a big family, so it's a very supportive network of people.
