Review content:
We arrived late and tired, staff were really friendly and made us very welcome. Gave good directions for food and beers in town, the place is nicely located -- a 10 minute walk covers everywhere you'd need to go. The place could do with a fresh coat of paint maybe, but the price, service and location beat a lot of more expensive places we stayed on our trip. If you're looking to spend your time in Monterey in your room, this probably isn't the right place. If you're looking for friendly staff and a great base to explore from, stay here. Would definitely stay there again.
