Review content:
I saw Erin Shariff, N.P. because Dr. Licht was on maternity leave. A quick strip urine was done and I was told the test was positve for cancer cells. Needless to say I was quite concerned due to the fact that I have a family history of bladder cancer. Erin said the sample would be sent to the lab and the test that is done by the lab is more accurate than the quick strip so I should try not to worry (yeah right, I had myself diagnosed with a malignate tumor with stage 4 cancer). Monday morning I called the office to get the results from the lab. I started calling @ 9:00 did not get through until 10:00 no one had any resluts for me and I was told to call back. After several more phone calls and being put on hold many times, I was told I would have to come back in and give another sample because the lab lost the first one and I would have to wait another 5 to 7 days for the results. Several weeks later I received an e.o.b. from my health insurance co., -- Eastside Clinical Lab (the lab that was supose to have lost my sample) had billed my insurance for the test that was ""lost"". After some investigating I found out that it was not the lab that had lost the sample but the office that forgot to send it to the lab. The lab did receive the sample late Monday afternoon (the test was done on Thursday) so it sat in the office for 4 days and the office lied to cover up their mistake. I no longer\r
am a patient there.
