I thought they were awful and would never go there again. I had a used subaru I just bought and needed help with an issue. They charged me $100 to diagnois the problem and then gave me an outrageous quote. The most expensive of the 8 other places I called. When I finally took my car to a less expensive shop, they said that was never the issue. When asked silver star about how they came to that problem they said that everything else was ok and so it had to be. But they never actually even looked at it. Turns out the problem was a simple easy fix that they said was fine even though it was a pretty clear issue. The new mechanic had no problem showing me. Having a temp tag with a new to me car, and looking for a new place you would think he would want to create a new customer but it was the opposite. I felt they were rude, short and condescending when I tried to get info about what they had found.
