I got a number of estimates to clean out my cellar. All were in the same ballpark, but so much higher than I expected. All of the ones I called kept telling me the ""exceptions"" to the general estimate, which kept driving the price up. They were all large companies that I had heard of before. I almost cancelled the estimate appointment for Best Rate Cleanouts, because I assumed they would give me the same high price, with all the exceptions added to the base estimate. Am I glad I didn't cancel that appointment!! Chris, the owner of Best Rate Cleanouts came, and in 10 minutes of looking at the basement he gave me a quote which was 1/3 the final price of everyone else's quotes...and no exceptions!!! We shook hands, he gave me the written quote, which specified ""everything in the basement"", as I asked, and he and his crew showed up 3 times, cleaned everything out (it was extensive) and swept before they left. They were always on time, efficient and courteous. I have already signed with them to return before our house closing and take everything else remaining in the house...again at a good price. I HIGHLY recommend them.
