Review content:
Now Chase Bank, Bank One is the worst-employed bank I've ever been to. Every time I go (and admittedly, I still bank there- it's right under my apartment), its like the people get paid to be rude and slow and impatient with me.
Case in point: Im in there to deposit a cheque. Very simple. I'm waiting in line for 20 minutes (theres nobody in front of me, either) at lunchtime and it's busy and there's only one teller and this lady keeps talking and talking and talking to the teller after her little transaction and then the manager comes out and says he's sorry. He says that he's got to keep the customers happy, with a little grin on his face.
"I hope you're all okay- it should be just a minute."
"Can you open another booth?" I ask.
"Sorry- everyone else is busy." He says. "we've got to keep the customers happy."
Ugh. Aren't I a customer? How about the other ten people waiting in line, probably on their meagre lunch break, behind me?
Of course, now that the woman is finally done, I go up to the teller and she treats me like I'm her own personal kryptonite, like she's disgusted at the sight of my face.
