We left our two dogs for a week at this place based on the reviews found here and on other websites as well as having inspected the place beforehand. At first, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the place and its spaciousness. However, upon returning from vacation and picking up our dogs, we noticed when we got home that our dogs were INFESTED WITH TICKS. It was truly disgusting and the only place they could have gotten those ticks were at Comfort Kennels--both of my dogs are indoor dogs and have never had a tick on them. The infestation was so horrific that there were big ticks and what appeared to be hundreds of small ticks on both of my dogs. We had to take them immediately to the vet and now they are on antibiotics as a preventative measure. I will NEVER take my dogs to this facility again and, if you care about your dogs as much as we do, I strongly suggest you don't consider leaving them at this facility.
