Review content:
I went out to eat with my husband and another couple last night. The service was good but there was something wrong with more than half of the food that we ordered.
Our appetizers were Bruchetta and Potato & Cheese Soup. The soup was excellent but the bruchetta had way too many tomatos on it and not nearly enough spices. It resembled eating a tomato on a cracker. The amount of cheese put in it was also minuscule.
My husband ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. The sauce was kind of strange and the carrots were not cooked thourghly.
The other couple got a pasta bake which had way too much spice in the marinara sauce.
My meal turned out the worst when I ordered Steak and Shrimp Scampi. The only edible part of the meal was the loaded mashed potatoes which were excellent. I ordered the steak Medium Rare and received Well Done. To make matters worse, the "Scampi Sauce" was everywhere. Generally that type of sauce is lightly put over the meat as it is cooking. Both the shrimp and the steak were drenched in it.
I ended up complaining to the manager and they were very nice in not charging for the meal and gave me a free desert of chocolate cake. The cake was sugary but very good.
In the end, they can make great potato products but everything else is pretty bad.
