Review content:
My husband and I came here because we wanted new, functional, attractive cabinets for our small kitchen. We met with Maria Perez yesterday and explained that we were not going to get cabinets from Home Depot because they were too expensive, but showed her a picture of the design done by Home Depot and said we would be interested in something similar. Although we were impressed with Maria's knowledge, professionalism, poise, and efforts to help us and found the price tag agreeable, there were some problems: 1. The showroom was small and offered very few choices of cabinet brands, colors, and styles for us to work with, possibly forcing us to sacrifice one important feature for another (i.e., unframed cabinets that we really wanted but only available in black, which we didn't want; or cabinets in the cider color that we really wanted but only with frames, which we didn't want). 2. Maria, while her intentions were good, seemed to be trying to convince us to go with suggestions or recommendations by the company instead of deciding for ourselves what was best for us and for our kitchen (i.e., changing the configuration of our plumbing system for a supposedly better layout, which we didn't want to do because it would be expensive and messy). 3. The cabinets only had a five year warranty, which would not suffice for us since we plan to stay in our house for at least another thirty years. For these reasons, we have decided that this company is not going to work out for us. If you are not particular about brand, color, or style and intend to purchase cabinets on the basis of budget alone, the Wooden Cabinet Factory might be a good fit for you.
