I am pleased to be a reference for payless and its owner and mechanical team in Chico. My car had serious computer module problems. A dealer said hundreds just to look at it thousands to repair the defective equipment. While in Chico I visited Payless Smog and repair center. The Owner of payless looked at my situation, understood completely what the issues were and maped out a smart checklist of trouble shooting and repai. The end result is that my car passed the necessary smog test, it runs efficently and safely now. If you have mechanical issues with your car, I would strongly recommend checking with Bill at payless. He could have jacked the price on my repair and I would have been helpless to know what is real. Instead he gave me a reasonable bid and saved me at least $1000. These people are hard working honest mechanics. An asset to the Chico community. Check them out if you need auto repair.
