I've yet to have a bad meal or dining experience at this restaurant.
The cuisine is listed as American, but this is definitely not a steak and seafood restaurant.
The menu would better be described as european-influenced gourment. Veal oscar, beef wellington, chicken versonese, goose liver pate, panka encrusted chilean seabass are just some of Bullfinch's offerings.
The atmosphere is ecclectic, romantic and classy, without being too uptight or formal. In there summer there's outdoor seating available on the patio beneath a vined trellis.
They also have a decent wine list, and a fair selection of scotches and cordials.
