Review content:
if you love fresh ahi and hate spending money, this is the place for you. located on fort st. mall downtown, between hotel and beretania, just steps away from the hawaii theater, hpu and macy's is this gem of a "diner." it's not even that. it's a counter with some tables and chairs. but eight bucks gets you fresh chunks of ahi on a bed of fresh, crisp salad (i've NEVER HAD WILTED LETTUCE at this place--is that possible?!?), about as much rice (brown or white) as you can ask for (you can ask for rice, extra rice or "extra extra rice", which i thought was hilarious) and miso soup. they also have a spicy tuna version, a teriyaki chicken version, handrolls and more. but i have to admit, i've never gotten past the fresh ahi plate b/c i love it so much!! OOOOOOONOOOOOO!!!
