Dr. Monnes is just fantastic. He's gentle, understanding, professional, hygienic, and his staff is superb! He's just a down-to-earth kind of guy: Friendly-- he really puts you at ease. Yet he's totally professional. I felt completely safe in his care; he really seems to know his stuff-- always thorough and yet never overbearing...
Appointments get a reminder call the day before (I love that!), and the whole experience makes the visit an actual PLEASURE! His office is an historical house, located in the heart of Gresham. It is just beautifully restored/appointed with really nice decor.
Most important: The staff, from receptionist (Sue is Dr. Monnes' wife) to hygienist, is caring and friendly. I actually ENJOYED having my teeth cleaned! My hygienist was professional, and very friendly. I nearly fell asleep as I reclined in the dental chair while she cleaned my teeth! Gentle, quiet, professional. Just a wonderful experience. Dr. Monnes' wife, Sue, is the receptionist. She is friendly and professional. Just a gem. I have talked with her on the phone many times, and she is truly a pleasure. She greets me by name when I arrive, and she is always helpful and considerate when scheduling appointments.
