Businiess name:  Art Con Inc

Review content:
Aside from knowledge on the product/services (pavers) that my wife and I had purchased and a friendly and cheerful staff, ArtCon is an average concrete contractor. Better quality control and customer contact would help. However, Artcon s work crew: marcus & mario were very knowledgeable and talented in their work skills so kudos to them!! Our estimator, John, did not promptly return phone calls, the work area was somewhat cleaned up, but the crew ran out of daylight and could not finish cleanup. More to this review: John and my wife and I went into contract with the understanding that we did not want our driveway demolished until all material was on site. On 15 Oct. we went under contract with a start date of 25 Oct. with completion 26 Oct. On 24 Oct. John called us and said delivery of pavers were delayed but would be delivered the evening of 26 Oct. with a start date now of 29 Oct. No pavers were delivered on 26 Oct. or over the weekend. On Mon., 29 Oct. the demo crew arrived and we said no demo until pavers are on site. After a call to John, John said pavers would be on site within an hour. OK was then given for demo to start by us. On 30 Oct. pavers were laid on site but crew could not complete job as they ran out of a certain size pavers. John called us and said they would have to order more pavers from Phoenix, AZ - so now job is at a halt (which we did not want). Evidentially someone did not order correctly or upon arrival of pavers from Phoenix, someone did not quality control (QC) upon delivery. On Mon. 5 Nov. pavers were delivered at approx. 1130 to finish paving. Crew did a good job finishing the job but were rushed because they ran out of daylight. Final paving job was not completed to our satisfaction. If the crew would have been on site when pavers were delivered (instead of on another job in the morning), the crew could have finished the job without rushing and running out of daylight. For a job that was supposed to take 2 days - this job ended up taking 12 days!! No excuse for this
