Rip Off Alert: The owner, Bob Steinmetz, cannot and will not resolve problems stemming from poor craftsmanship of his contractors. We hired AOC to build a shower & after I signed the invoice, we discovered it leaked, it was constructed of inferior products, the shower valve was installed upside down, our custom shower pan was scratched and gouged, the shower door was installed crooked, we had no hot water, very little water pressure, and many other issues. They were not skilled enough to make the necessary repairs and corrections after 3 months, we fired them and requested a refund as stated in their guarantee. But they refused. Their efforts to fix the problem included trying to cover up the leak, offering to stand in the shower with an umbrella, and spending hours staring at the shower scratching their heads. After 3 inspections by NARI contractors we had to tear out the shower and start all over, & because they have an arbitration contract only (which is a joke), we are out $5,000.
