DON’T USE MAIDPRO if you want a spotless house. I have never used a maid service before because I keep a pretty clean home. I just wanted someone to make the place look like I had just moved in (or at least try). I requested that the baseboards be cleaned, dust everything including windows, clean bathrooms and kitchen. I live in a 1000 sf apartment with two tiny bathrooms and small kitchen. The sales rep said that a two-hour cleaning should do the job. The owner of the Morrisville location, Jennifer and I played phone tag prior to my first cleaning to go over things but the phone call just never happened due to one or the other not being able to answer. \r
Cons: \r
- I was charged $80.78 when I was supposed to be charged $58!!!! How can you legally charge someone almost double the price they were told w/o notice?! I was charged more b/c maid went over time which isn’t my problem. I was told maid would do his/her best and leave after two hours since I only requested two hours. \r
- the maid checked off things on the MaidPro checklist claiming she did them, but didn’t (dusting not done, switch plates not cleaned, my kitchen cabinets weren’t touched it seems, chairs weren’t cleaned, etc. All of which were checked as in cleaned). Eleven things on the checklist were marked ‘N/A’. Why?! All of which could have been done. \r
- I am being charged for something that I didn’t even get – my main reasoning for the cleaning was to get the windows dusted and cleaned, baseboards, kitchen and bathrooms sanitized. Windows were not even touched and the rest wasn’t even mediocre. My husband couldn’t even tell someone came to clean. \r
- The reps and owner from Morrisville location kept blaming problem on the sales rep from Boston saying it was a miscommunication from them?! Boston didn’t check things off a list and lie about things that weren’t done. Boston didn’t over charge my credit card creating an overdraft in my bank account. \r
- I was booked for the next 12 months for monthly cleanings! They did that automatically w/o my notice! \r
Pro (but not really):\r
- I was only credited $22.78 making it $58 for a horrible service. I believe Jennifer should have offered for someone to come back and do as I requested which would have made me happy. I would have then been comfortable with paying for the service. Or just given a full refund. \r
I am extremely dissatisfied with MaidPro and will NEVER use them again. Nor will I recommend them to anyone. \r
