Review content:
My husband bought a diamond ring for me from Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange on Forest Lane 5 years ago for just under $1500. A diamond came loose, so he took the ring back to them to put it back and reset the other diamonds. When he gave it back to me, I thought they had done a poor job resetting the stones and didn't think it looked right. The diamonds looked icky. Since our 20th anniversary is coming up, I took the ring back to them and asked the guy at the counter what was wrong with it and why I didn't like it. I didn't tell him the ring came from them. He looked at it and said ""well, these are really low quality cheap diamonds. It would retail for about $500."" I said ""Really?!? $500?? Then why did you charge my husband almost $1500 for it!!"" I showed him the receipt for the original purchase and the repair. He offered to reset the diamonds again for free. The trust was gone. Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange--what crooks!
