This is regarding their Grapevine location only as I have not visited their Frisco location. \r \r I went into the store on a whim and looked at a nice pre-owned Rolex. The manager, Alex, offered me a deal that was very good but I had to leave to pick up my son, so I told him I would be back the next day. I called Alex the next afternoon and told him I would be in later that day to look at the watch and probably buy it. I arrived at the store a few hours later and waited about 10 minutes while Alex was helping another customer. As soon as I was able to speak with him he told me he was waiting for his boss to ""find a replacement"". I'm not sure why, but his boss remained on the phone for quite a while speaking with some unknown person and finally hung up and said Alex would get the watch for me. I looked over the watch again and said ok, I would take it at the price that was quoted the night before. Alex's boss was not happy with the deal that Alex had made and tried to renegotiate the deal with me. I was very irritated because I expect people to stand behind their word. I agreed to come up another $100 (against my better judgment) but the boss would not come down a $100 to meet me in the middle with the price (which was higher than Alex had offered me the night before). I said I had already increased my purchase price more than the deal that was made the night before and the boss said, well you should have bought it the night before and they would have honored the price. My thought is if the price was good last night, it is good today.\r \r I walked out and the boss said, we have your number and we will call you if we can do the deal. Good luck - when I am there and willing spend THOUSANDS of dollars, they better get it then and not expect me to come back and play their games.\r \r I guess the sales at Marc Samuels Grapevine are so good that they can turn business away and not honor the word of their salesman, so I would caution any potential buyers to get any deals in writing or make the deal while you are there, because they truly are not men of their word.\r \r Marc Samuels lost a very large sale and the potential for years of patronage from me, my family and my network of friends and acquaintances that I will make sure know this story. A few days later I bought another watch (just like the one they had) and they lost the sale and a customer forever.\r
