A little bit of compassion is appreciated when you are ill. The rest of the staff was kind, but Vanessa was so incredibly rude over the phone and in person. They want their money in full before they will do anything and won't hesitate to make a scene about it in the office. I was so embarrassed when Vanessa chewed me out at the office. Nobody else in the healthcare industry bills before they scan you. 5 Cities Medical imaging waits until the night before your scan to tell you that there is a balance due as soon as you arrive. Mine happened to be over $500 and I didn't check my messages. Good thing I brought my credit card.\r God forbid you don't know what NPO means... I spent this morning being yelled at by Vanessa because I drank a cup of tea and bread 4 hours before before my ct scan. Not the way you treat someone with cancer, or anyone for that matter. I would recommend using someone else for your scans and X-rays until Vanessa finds another place if employment.
