The whole night was just so confusing and frustrating! \r
We had a large party (11) so we called ahead. They said that they don't usually do reservations, only on large groups. So we made a reservation and all showed up Saturday evening. When we arrived, they said that they don't do reservations and had not heard of us ever before. So all 11 of us waited at the bar for AN HOUR. No free drinks or appetizers... no apologies... nothing. When we were finally seated,(most of us already starving!) our meals were luke warm and/or not that tasty. (my tamales were bland and my boyfriend's burger tasted like cardboard, although the fries were great!) They also short pored his wine. At $10 a glass it doesn't seem ethical to short someone. (The wine was VERY good though.) They had no problem putting an included 20% tip onto the bill but didn't care enough to at least say SOMETHING about our poor seating service. Our dinner group will not be coming back.
Pros: Cool diner feel, great people watching
Cons: poor customer service, not so hot food, over priced wine
