Review content:
THINK TWICE - and then think again - before taking your pet here. When I brought my dog in for the first time, the groomer asked me what I wanted done. I said ""a trim."" She asked me to define ""trim."" Fair enough. I said that since hair grows at the rate of 1/2"" per month and it had been six weeks since his last cut, a trim would be 3/4"". She then asked me several questions about the skirt, feathering and other features. She asked me if I wanted the same length all around. I said that, for this breed, there should be a bit longer fur on the legs (what they call ""skirt""). This went for several more minutes. When I picked up my dog, I was horrified to see had been shaved! HE HAD NO FUR left except a ""skirt"" which made him look ridiculous. She had cut much more than 3/4"" off. When she saw the look on my face, she asked me if this was not what I expected. I said no, I expected more hair. She replied, ""That's why I asked you exactly what you meant by ""trim."" I said, ""That's why I took so much time to answer you."" I will never go back there and am surprised that anyone goes there more than once. If you must go, bring a picture of EXACTLY what you want done. Not so much for the groomer, because I don't think they have the skills to even copy a photo, but so you will have a photo of what your dog should look like as you spend the next six months waiting for its coat to grow out to a normal length. P.S. I would have rated this business minus four stars, but that wasn't an option.
