If you are traveling to Alexandria, I highley DO NOT recommend this hotel as your choice of stay. I visited the hotel for a few days in April 07 for a business trip. After the second night, I realized the unclean sheets in part of thebed that I did not sleep. The last day of my stay, I starting noticing bites all over my arms and hands. Since then, I have been to the doctor 3 times and have had to fill a prescription that cost me $116.00 due to Scabies. This is highley unacceptable for any hotel much less a Holdiay Inn. I believe that some serious work needs to be done in order for this place to be of standard. I travel a lot and I have stayed many places and have never delt with anything of this sort. I work for an independently owned company, just like many of these hotels are independently owned, but we have to follow such strict guidelines in order to stay in business. I believe someone is slacking on their part to keep up with the sanitation and cleanliness of the hotel.
