Review content:
We had 8:00 reservations on a Saturday night. When we checked in we were told it would only be a few minutes to clear our table. There were tons of people walking in without reservations that we were competing with to be seated. By 8:40 we had still not been seated and after approaching the hostess the third time, she put us in an outside table right by the door (we requested indoors when we made the reservation). After complaining a little about the location, we were moved to a more intimate location (but still outside).\r
But, I have to hand it to Petros staff, they really made an effort to appologize to us multiple times throughout dinner. When I had to send my lamb back (medium-rare instead of medium), the manager (owner?) came out to appologize again. In the end, they gave us free dessert for having us wait to be seated. \r
The food was pretty good - the dip sampler is a must. Had the staff not been so ready to appologize and make amends we would not be willing to go back but now we will, just avoiding peak dinner times on the weekend.
Pros: Very different menu that was fun to try
Cons: Waiting time to be seated even with reservations
