My family and I have owned a dog named Maggie for about ten years now. As the days go by she becomes more frail and ill. As seeing so I've been needing to take her to the veterinarian for awhile and I chose Shelbyville Road Veterinary. When I went in with my dog the building looked very clean and lively. The staff was also pretty friendly and very kind to my dog, even though she looked horrible physically. When she was taken to the back her doctor inspected her thoroughly and told me that we had no choice but to put her down. He did say that it would be a painless process and that my dog would not feel a thing. I was really sad but I was very happy the doctor was so gentle and kind to her the entire time. I don't have a good memory of this place because of the condition Maggie was in, but I realize the service I received was top-notch.
