My family and I used to go to Perkins often. Their food is only so so but it's pretty affordable. However, after the last time, we will never go back to that place. I ordered chicken and a couple sides and I was also their with my brother and uncle. It took forever to get the food (even though they weren't very busy). I went to eat my chicken but the middle was ice cold. We asked the waitress about it and she said she would send over the manger. After about 10 minutes a woman walks over but doesn't introduce herself as the manger. She just asks how we are doing and I said fine because I didn't realize that she was the manger. After she turned to walk away I stopped her and asked if she was the manger. She said she was and I told her the problem. She said 'well just a second ago you said it was fine"" and even though I explained my mistake, she wasn't having it. She said the best they could do was put it in the microwave for a couple minutes. I asked her if they could just make me a new one since I didn't want microwaved chicken and she said no. Even though I told her it was never cooked in the first place, she refused to get me new food. We immediately got up, paid, and left. I was really not trying to get free or discounted food, I just wanted food that was cooked (and not by a microwave). I will never return to Perkins.
