Review content:
Five years ago I bought a Mitsubishi TV from Home Theater Store, now called Modia, at the store on Preston Road. I love the set and the picture is great. Yesterday I was playing a DVD for my grand children and one of them pushed the wrong button on my Verizon FIOS remote control and the picture went to snow. I was able to find the DVD player again and finish the movie but the Fios service was no where to be found. I didn't know what to do so I called the store. Bob the manager answered and explained that they had chaged their name last year and moved the store to Central and Knox. I told him my predicament and he said he would be glad to help. He spent over 30 minutes on the phone having me push buttons and checking various things on the TV and the Verizon Fios box. He had me try serveral things but I didn't really know what I was doing and was no help to him. He said, well you stumped the band! He then said, "" Ya know, I live up that way and would be glad to stop by on my way home tonight."" I told him I would be home and to come on by. He said it would be after 7:30. Sure enough about 7:45 Bob showed up. He went through a bunch of stuff on the TV and determined that somehow the TV did not recognize the Fios box was hooked to it. He spent about 15 minutes re-setting the TV, re-lableing the stuff that was hooked up to the TV and testing out system. He sat down with me, showed me what he had done and Viola! I had my Verizon back. Now keep in mind I bought this stuff 5 YEARS AGO. Bob spent over an hour and a half of his time helping me correct a problem that I caused... He fixed it, smiled and said, ""next time tou need a TV or some audio gear come see us."" Now that's great service! You wont' find people who care at the big stores like Best Buy and Circuit City. Heck, you can't even find any people! Thank you Modia for caring about your customers!!!!\r \r Bill Lentz - Plano Pros: Very Knowlegable People Cons: parking a pain
