Businiess name:  Gilbert's on Main - Restaurant

Review content:
I've been tio Gilbert's several times over the years, and always been disappointed. It's a tiny hole in the wall, with limited seating, and crude but functional furniture. You place your order at the counter, where other patrons are either dithering over the menu, or too busy talking with their friends. The servers are brusque, and probably overworked. Iced tea and lemonades come in towering narrow glasses, half filled with fruit, and topped with stupid little mai-tai umbrellas. Today, I ordered their signature salami and eggs. First they got the order wrong, and the server seemed inclined to tell me it was my error. When the right order came, the eggs were an unremarkable scramble. The salami looked like a single slice that had been julienned and then waved over the grill. The potatoes looked to have been boiled first, then cooked on a grill just long enough to make the skins look dirty. Not worth $20 overall. Pros: Tolerable bagels Cons: Food, service, crowding, no parking, overpriced
