Review content:
Yes another new Thai destination. It's becoming like Chinese spots, a few decades back, with one one every corner. So the really good Thai places, have to really set themselves apart. And Thai Fusion, does just that. Located in Brookwood, behind Houstons, is the charming little cafe. Just what I needed for lunch on a rainey day. Upon entering, the quaint interior brought a smile to may face, with shades of butternut, tan, and black laquer accents. And the black laquer accents, frame great black/white native Thai photo's. This is one classy little cafe. The owner/hostess was most charming. While the menu had the usuals, I started with a bowl of spicy Tom Yum w/shrimp. Somewhat different, with just the right amount of fire. Being a duck lover, I opted for the Roasted Duck with Red Curry. What a beautiful presentation. It reminded me of Tamarind, when it first opened many years ago. Wonderful Red Curry, Pineapple, Bell Peppers, Sweet Fresh Basil, and simmered in Coconut Milk. And those fancy garnishes made to look like little flowers. White tablecloth, small bar, and just charming. I will be back for dinner. It's in my 'hood!
Pros: Charming White Tablecloth Thai Cafe! Roasted Duck w/Red Curry Sauce!
