Review content:
My husband and I chose this diner for our anniversary meal during a stay at the Armstrong Mansion (highly recommended) which came with credit to restaurant(com) After printing our coupon we made the trip to The Med only to find a shabby exterior, and a poorly presented sign on the door stating they are no longer affiliated with restaurant(com) and that we, the customers, had to contact them for a refund. WHAT AN OUTRAGE! We had JUST printed the coupon and their location was a featured restaurant on the website- their contract with the site was certainly not up.
We went inside to explain that we had purchased our voucher just moments ago only to hear a rant from the man behind the counter-presumably the owner-about how he only intended to have the offer for a month and the site had swindled him into a 3 month contract. From a customer service standpoint-we shouldn't have to hear it! Also, if they accidentally entered a contract with the website, that is THEIR mistake, the customers-PAYING CUSTOMERS- should not be held accountable.
Learn to read the fine print and treat new-comers to great service! Take responsibility for the mistake and certainly don't expect a little sign on your door declaring you're unaffiliated-to go down.
Will ABSOLUTELY never be back, the place was just as ghetto inside as it was outside, nothing fantastic about the smell, and decor consisted of plastic wind-mils, a jungle of fake plants, and tacky flags. Save your money for better places and a better atmosphere. We ate at Thai Garden on 9th and 9th-opposite in every way!
