I have been to this ranch many times, and I can assure you that all the horses are young enough to be worked, they get the proper care and are groomed regularly; they may not look like show ponies, but that doesnt mean that they arent healthy. Some of the horses have swayed backs, and most are shod. I have been riding for more then 10 years, and I know that these horses are cared for and healthy. Yes, there might be the occasional nip on the trail, but they are horses, and it happens. In all the times I've ridden there noone has ever fallen off, and all of the guides are helpful and kind. There are different horses for the experienced riders than the green ones. If you want to have a beautifal ride on the trails and beach, this is the place to go.
