Review content:
We had a hidden leak that caused our floor to dry rot.Nationwide insurance suggested Integer to us. Shannon Smith, the owner of the company came with the claims adjuster to asses the damage. They sold me a bill of goods about being a "blue ribbon" certified company. The project was supposed to take 6 weeks to complete. We were out of our home for 9 months. They actually never completed the project. I never signed off with my insurance company. They left a portion of our floor without insulation and failed to finish much of the trim work. That isn't the worst of it. One of their employees defaced a mural on my 12 year old daughters wall by drawing male genitalia on a horse. During our 9 months in exile I spent a lot of time on the phone with Shannon Smith and his never ending 20 something project managers he kept replacing. For about 6 weeks I didn't hear from anyone only to find out that they never applied for a permit from the county. I had to do it my self. In the following months my wife and I took on the role of project manager to a revolving door of sub contractors. I've never experienced such a lack of professionalism in my life. A good take away from my experience with Shannon Smith and Integer is to never hire a contractor with manicured nails.
