The personal touch is evident here, as I have booked many airline tickets through Cross County, and each time they know exactly the kind of seat I want on the plane, and the fact that I like direct flights based on the personal profile they keep on each customer. They even helped me arrange a trip to various country inns in New England several years ago, and the trip AND the accomodations were outstanding. They are also very helpful in getting credit for an un-used airline ticket one time - try getting that directly from the airline! Friendly, personal service at a reasonable price.
