If you're looking for home made candy in the greater Joliet area look no farther than Dan's Home Made Candy Shop on Plainfield Road (between Black and Ingalls). They have a wide selection (all made on the premises) of chocolates, including chocolate covered nuts and toffees, as well as cream centers. Their caramel is TO DIE FOR!! Their caramel apples, sold only in the fall, are famous in Joliet, and are priced by the size of the apple. Chocolates are sold by weight, and you can buy a pre-packed box or pick out the exact goodies you want. They also carry a good selection of sugar-free candy. Get there early in the day during the months of September and October for the best selection of caramel apples!!
