Bob McKenna is the best agent we have had. My husband and I have bought and sold several times in several states so that truly is saying something. I really appreciated how detail oriented he was. Having a pre-market inspection allowed us to use wisely the funds we set aside to fix the house up for sale. We were able to focus on repairs that could be deal-killers while at the same time getting input from Bobs experts on how to prioritize those curb-appeal items (we couldnt do it all, so we focused on the important stuff). He also helped us find a contractor that could do it just about everything painting, carpeting, tile, electrical repairs, new fixtures, etc. I also found Bob to be a wonderful advocate when it came to negotiating with potential buyers. We had some bumps in the road because our first buyer lost her job the day before closing and backed out but Bob really stuck by us and helped us regain our momentum. He gave us sound advice but always supported whatever decision we made with respect to other potential buyers. To top it all off, we moved out of state before our house went to market and Bob regularly checked the property, sending us email updates on its status and telling us when the lawn needed mowing or minor repairs (leaky sprinkler head) were needed. He even took it upon himself to replace our dusty air conditioning filters. He was simply amazing. We plan to return to Austin to retire and I can guarantee you that he will be the first person we call when ready to buy our smaller retirement house.
