Review content:
I will never go back to US Healthworks. I had an injury that I did not realize was worker's comp. I went to US Healthworks with the intention of using our private insurance. Once they found out it was worker's comp, they almost went skipping down the hallway with joy. The whole attitude changed. Before I knew it, I had xrays, a whole bag of medications and other items for my injury, 6 physical therapy visits scheduled and another office visit two days later. I refused to start the whole worker's comp thing with them and instead elected my own doctor to treat me. I called to cancel my appt and physical therapy and was told at first that I was not allowed to do that. Excuse me??? It is my body and within my right to see another doctor. I told them that I would be seeing my own doctor and after a few minutes of explaining this 5 different ways to the receptionist, she agreed to cancel my appt. The next thing I know they are calling my employer telling them I did not show up for my appt. Are they that desperate that they need to troll for business? They make their $ off worker's comp. That is obvious. I would not go back there again. Certainly not for private insurance care and not to get sucked into the worker's comp vortex. You are better off in an ER.\r
Pros: The front office staff were very helpful
Cons: Overall attitude and reasons for providing care were geared towards worker's comp $
