First off we were sitting in the waiting area, there were pts in there talking about how rude one of the dental assistants was, then the other mentioned how the dentist had no bedside manners & was very rude. i thought to myself, oh god, please dont let us become one of these horror stories. one man mentioned his wife had an appt at 10:30am and she was still in the back (we checked in at 1:35 pm, and when he got up to ask how she was, he was told, IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM, WE WOULD OF TOLD YOU, YOU CAN HAVE A SEAT NOW. As i sat there waiting for my husbands turn, i decided to call another dental office that i had just learned of, that was in my area (we drove an hour to get to this place) to see if they took our insurance, and thank god they did. Shortly after that they called my husband back, (he doesnt deal well with anything medical & is worse then a child, he made me promise not to leave him alone, which i did) we get to the back & the dental assistant asked, WHO'S PAYING THIS BILL? I told her we had insurance, she looked at me as if i was stupid & said I MEAN THE BALANCE? I asked what the balance was & she said , YOU'LL NEED TO COME WITH ME. We then went to the front desk & the girl there told me what it was going to be & I asked if they accepted visa, she said she would write all my credit card info down, because there machine was broke, i told her ok. I went back to the room & my husband was telling me his b/p was 130 over 60, the dental assistant rudely states 61! which was like ok, so what. I didnt say anything & after she left the room my husband said, she grabbed my hand after you left and shoved that thing on my finger so hard to get some kind of a reading for my breathing, that i thought she was trying to break it. Shortly after that the doctor walks in and begins to tell me, THIS ISNT LIKE MAJOR SURGERY, ITS NOT LIKE I'M REMOVING HIS LOWER WISDOM TOOTH, SO WHEN I START MY SURGERY YOU CAN LEAVE! Well I must of had a look on my face because he then states, DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM? I said, well, and that was it he then yelled, I'M DONE, GET OUT OF HERE! I couldnt believe it, just like that he was out of the room & he was master of the universe. I helped my husband up took him to the front desk to get our money back, and when i approached the girl who took the information from me, i told her the Dr didnt do anything i would like to have our money back, the dental assistant comes from no where & yells THE DR THREW THEM OUT BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT LEAVE!, I couldnt believe she just yelled that. there was patient s in the other rooms & i'm sure the people in the waiting area could here her, because the place isnt that big. The girl at the desk waited for this dental assistant to give her permission to give me back the paper she wrote my credit card info on, and after she got permisssion, she gave it back to me. i got my husband out to the car & he then states, what about my xrays. itold him i will go back in and get them (because he was still tired from the pills they had him take prior to his appointment) so i went back in, and as luck would have it, the beast (dental asst) was standing right there at the front. I told her I needed to get my husbands xrays, she stated I'LL MAIL THEM TO YOU, I told her no I would like to take them now, she picked up the phone & said, EITHER YOU LEAVE NOW OR I'M CALLING THE POLICE. I told her she couldnt keep his xrays, we brought them there, they didnt take those xrays. She said THERE OURS & I'LL MAIL YOU A COPY. I told her i didnt want a copy, we brought them & i wanted them, she then said again, LEAVE OR I'M CALLING THE POLICE. Unfortunately at this point i was so angry with this woman, i let her have it, by telling her she was the most rudess, unprofessional person iever meet, and I left without my husbands xrays. The worst part is, he advertises American Dental Association and he's not even a member. I had to give him a star in order to publish reviewe
