This is my joint. Ray hooks me up with my Mate latte every morning. So creamy, so warm, it's like candy in a glass and gives me just the right amount of buzz to make it down mopac without falling asleep. I also enjoy the little tasties under the counter which I cannot pronounce. I wish the menu was a little more extensive but the Feijoada on Saturdays is awesome. If you haven't tried Feijoada let me describe it to you- (Vegetarians, go massage yourself with pita bread or something.) Its this black bean thing slow cooked in an little tender bits of meat and what appears to be every part of the pig. Or cow. Actually, I don't know if its pole cat and I don't care because I'm going to eat the s***t out of it. It's served on a bed of white rice with a side of garlicky collard greens. They also give you a little container of farinha, which is kind of like a toasted grain. Actually, I dont know exactly what it is but I dump it on my feijoda and it gives it a nice little crunch. Drink it down with a cold Guarana and you'll feel like you're chilling in Rio. Bossa Nova rocks. Pros: Great smoothies, great coffee, awesome baked goods, nice staff, AMAZING CHEESECAKE Cons: parking not so good, not open on Sunday, wish they had more hot things on the menu
