Businiess name:  Jimmy's Food & Cocktails
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
When Jimmy's first opened it was a first class dinner experience.\r Perhaps the failing economy has caused this, but the portion size has been reduced, the food quality is no longer at the top of the scale, the little extras are not so evident, and the service, although good, in no longer exemplary.\r The last couple times I've been, the food was not especially hot, and the little food frills on the plates weren't there.\r My biggest disappointment was the Bouya (sp?) soup. I used to love it! What a wonderful comfort food. The last two times I had it (yes, I do allow for the occasional bad day) it was little more than leftovers in gravy. \r The spicing of the food seems to be following many other eaterys and bars. Lots of salt, less herbs, flavorings and spices than it used to have. \r \r Sill nice, but only a cut above the ""bar food"" variety. Pros: Close to work Cons: High prices for average food and service
