My friend Bryan (a former Angeleno who now resides in Kauai) called me to say that he had gone with friends on a friday night to West atop the Angeleno Hotel and had such a great time that he wanted to invite a group of us to join him the following Saturday. Turns out Jeff West (formerly of Spago's) is the GM. As soon as I heard that I knew we were going to have a great experience. The view in one of the best in LA over looking the entire city, you are greeted by Jeff (who in my opinion is one of the best restaurateur's in LA) and he introduced us to Chef, Matthew Wolf. There were 5 of us and we each had a different entree. Everything was delicious. We had a great waitress from Texas who served us with her Southern hospitality. They have a wonderful cabaret singer who keeps it fun after a great meal. This is a great place for a romantic evening or if your single it has a lot to offer. Bar area was fun. CHECK IT OUT.
