Review content:
Brix is still imaginative and always pleasing even after being open now for over 4 years...(which is rare anymore for any Indianapolis independent.) be sure to check it out for yourself and double check the info listed here....Citysearch is very outdated in Indianapolis. Brix no longer does Brunch and isn't open 7 days a week....i also think it is improperly listed as a ""bakery."" I have emailed citysearch and they don't seem to be on the ball. Brix is definitely more of an American Bistro and changes its menu seasonally. It is a very unassuming yet romantic and stylish atmosphere. Kids are welcome as far as I know, but I have to say like so many other restaurants, I wish parents would bring the misbehaved ones early in the evening and keep the dinner hours reserved for the well behaved children. I digress. Brix is highly recommended and should not be missed! \r
(One side note--I was very impressed last time I was in with 3 other diners. One of my guests wasn't crazy about a particular spice used in his dish (he said it was just too spicy for his taste) and the owner (or manager?) happily took the entire dish off of our bill and quickly replaced his dish. No questions asked. We even got a free dessert. I was very impressed!\r
Pros: You can reserve the bar for private catered dining--it's perfect!
