Review content:
Dr Werwie decided to do a very complicated root canal instead of referring the case to an Endodontist. Although is was my husband's fault for LETTING him perform this procedure, he payed dearly! First of all, just after a few months, the whole thing became severely infected, to the point my husband was having a very rancid discharge coming form his tooth. He went back in to see Dr Werwie who told him his tooth was fine without even bothering to take an x-ray! Subsequently, I insisted he make an appoinment with an Endodontist, who immediately x-rayed the tooth and referred him to an Oral Surgeon for an extraction because the tooth WAS infected. About six months after this incident, I went into Forward Dental to get my teeth worked on and when the dentist I saw rinsed my mouth out with a disinfectant, the dental assistant just happened to ask if Dr Werwie did this and the dentist replied .''no''. I could not believe what I was hearing. So, I then stated...\r
''is this why my husband's root canal became so infected shortly after his procedure and had to be removed''? Not one word was spoken in reference to my question by either one of them. The very least Dr Werwie could have done is take an x-ray to make sure there was no infection. Very dangerous and serious health consequences could have occured if we had not decided to seek another opinion, and have the infected tooth removed! I agree with the previous poster, definitely AVOID this guy
