Review content:
If you're tired of hitting up the chain joints, head downtown to Manhattan's Deli. A very diverse sandwhich menu plus at least one or two rotating specials not normally found on the menu. Soups and salads also available, but really the star here is the mile-high classic deli sandwhich. All orders are taken via checklist; when you walk in there are plenty of blank menus with check boxes. You select the bread, the meat, the cheese and other toppings or you can simply choose one of the standard named sandwhiches. Sides include pickle spears, chips, soup, salad...all of which can be selected using the checklist. Hand your card off to the cashier and wait for your name to be called. Kind've quirky, but memorable. The portions never dissapoint and for lighter eaters, half-sandwhiches/soup combos are available. Always a solid choice.
Pros: Ordering, volume of sandwhich filling, downtown location w/ window seating
Cons: seating can be limited, especially during lunch hours. Prices are a bit high for sandwhiches
