Review content:
I have a genetic disorder in my family that causes hearing loss. I have been seeing Dr Lolan since I was a young girl (my mom was a patient of his for a long time as well). Now at 36 and living in Portland OR, I will still go back to him when it is time for new hearing aids. I've tried to find a new audiologist, but Dr Lolan is so in synch with the latest technologies in the hearing world, that I've yet to find anyone with his type of knowledge and experience in the field. I had a horrible experience with another audiologist who basically told me that I would have to live with some of the shortfalls of hearing aids. I decided to call up Dr Lolan for a second opinion, and he was horrified at what I was being told. After fitting me with new Phonak Exelia's, he proved his point. The Dayton area is so lucky to have him. Whether you are a young person trying to handle hearing loss for the first time, a frustrated professional trying to cope or an older person who has lost hearing over time, he can find the right fit for you. Just keep in mind that good hearing aids do not come cheap, but what a difference they have made in my life. Pros: Ahead-of-the-curve audiologist, friendly office Cons: Dr Lolan does run behind but he takes time with everyone
