So we usually go to the sister restaurant - Madras Bistro - which is right next door. It's pretty much the same menu as Tandoori Chef, but only the vegetarian part. Everything on the menu in MB is available at TC. My parents dont really like the smell of meat and all, so we try to go all veg restaurants. While MB and TC share a kitchen, it feels like a separate restaurant. I'm told they keep utensils separate for the Veg dishes, but I still have to confirm that.\r

Madras Bistro is very casual and simple, with great food. Their indo-chinese is fantastic, and the dosas are amazing. They have this red chutney that they give along with the dosa - sooo good. Totally brings out the flavor of the masala dosa. And the ""masala"" in the masala dosa was perfect.\r

If you want a proper restaurant feel with veg and non veg options, TC is better. MB is not fancy at all, but it's a nice, clean place, and the food is fantastic. To me, that's what counts. I've tried the north indian, south indian, and indo-chinese and everything I've ordered was great. I don't even LIKE sambhar much, but their's was really good. \r

Madras Bistro/ Tandoori Chef has become my family's # 1 indian restaurant option around. And it's not even expensive!
