Review content:
I was unhappy about several aspects of the remodel. After completion of the job, however, Marsh Vorspan has attempted to address some issues. I complained about the lacquer and demanded that a particular painter be used. Marsh Vorspan complied, even though the painter was more expensive than their painter subcontractors. I called about an issue with the cable wire, and they responded the next morning. I called about cracking in the caulk of a large window. They assured me that it was caused by contraction and expansion due to the weather, and recaulked the window seam. Despite my severe criticisms, they were still willing to come out to my house 11 months after completion of the job to address my complaints.
Pros: Design was good and easy working with Vorspan; efforts by Doug and Chuck to resolve issues long after job completion
Cons: different levels of expectations
