Businiess name:  Calhoun's Banquets & Catering

Review content:
Overlooking the Tennessee River near Neyland and Thompson Boling, Calhoun's is the scenic pre- and post-game boozing and eating destination for UT athletic events. Calhoun's reputation is serving fabulous ribs and while they weren't the best I've ever eaten, the ribs were tasty and meaty with little fat. Quality barbecue should have good side items, and Calhoun's met expectations there (though they were temporarily out of spinach maria, supposedly their best side). Wings, spinach dip, white chili and salads were also good. At the bar, microbrews dominate the taps. Thunder Road, Helles and their seasonal brew are fairly decent, with the seasonal tasting the best. Service was fairly good given a big crowd prior to basketball game. We actually ate/drank there before and after the game, and had a great time. If heading to a UT sporting event, I recommend you check this place out. Pros: Tasty barbecue, Good value, Scenic atmosphere
