Businiess name:  Oasis

Oasis is a gem. It is tucked away at the corner of Alton Rd and Arthur Godfrey Blvd. The name ""Oasis"" is in broken mosaic tiles above the door - it's easier to spot the neon ""open"" sign in the window and the half dozen outdoor tables tucked behind some bushes on Arthur Godfrey.\r \r The friendly service is obvious from the minute you walk in. This is one place in town I can actually say that my iced tea glass has never run empty! It's cool that the service is equally good no matter which staff member is your server! The owners (father and son) are nice, and I suppose this simply carries on through the entire staff.\r \r Where to begin? The Middle Eastern Sampler has the flafle, hummus, olives, grape leaves and all of the trimmings. It's on the appetizer menu, but if you're not a big eater it can make an adequate and delicious lunch. The salmon with a garlic ginger sauce, delicately seasoned rice and spinach is a sure bet. The chicken, tofu (regular or curry) stir fry is amazing as is the thin crust pizza. Tapioca pudding and carrot cake (yum). \r \r Clean as a button and I've never had to wait for a table or service even though this is a busy restaurant. Lunch and dinner are served - check out the chef's specials as they always are [special].\r \r This is a once or twice a week restaurant for me and has been for nearly a year. I simply love Oasis. Pros: Great Mediterrean food, thin crust pizza, salmon with ginger/garlic Cons: Signage makes it hard to find the first time, a bit noisy in the dining room when it's full
