Review content:
I lived in these apartments for 3 years and they were some of the best I've lived in my entire life. The new management is awesome, and gave me by security deposit back with no hassle at all. The main manager guy (forgot his name) is incredibly nice. Maintenance is always there to fix any problems usually the same day or next day at longest. Great location on the edge of the Garden District with a shuttle to Tulane. The street car line runs on St. Charles right in front of the apartments and that will bring you from the French Quarter to the end of the Garden District. The apartments are also the best place in New Orleans IMO for Mardi Gras. Free coffee every morning is nice and they have King Cake and other goodies throughout the year. Security guards are nice too and patrol the whole building. The only problems I saw were: if you go a couple streets north, you are in a bad neighborhood but I didn't have a single problem in the 3 years I was there. Just stay south of Carondolet and you'll be more than fine. Also, they raise rent about $40-50/mo when you re-lease but that's normal of any apartment. The appliances and windows are a bit old and that bothered me a little but the rest of the place was so cool I didn't really care. Definitely recommend it, especially if you're a Tulane grad student!
