Pacc Auto came recommended by some locals in Valencia who knew of the place but had never gone there, but they were well known to specialize in hondas and have experience. Needless to say I did not enjoy the service I received there at all. I brought my car in for a timing belt and water pump change. They quoted me a fair price and I dropped my car there in confidence. They called me 30minutes before the scheduled pick up time that my car was ready and that they needed to charge me $150 more for replacing the engine gaskets which they already had gone ahead and done. Now one could see this as a ""favor"" but I was not to pleased. They have already charged me the labor to open up the engine to change the timing belt. Also one would ordinarily think that with experience they would know that the gaskets would ordinarily need to be changed, they did not even mention the possiblity of this earlier on. And a gasket costs $5-10 each. I asked and canoodled with them to please take off that charge and honor their quoted price and made the point that they can't just add charges up without counseling with me about it first. Now I am still doubting if they even did change the gaskets at all, because one year later I have a slow oil leak coming from the timing belt area. The whole experience left a bad feeling and I never want to go there again. So be forewarned if you are a educated consumer trying to get a good deal, learn more about your car and have good maintenance, then forget it. If you are coming in for convenient service and have deep pockets then go for it. they will probably not counsel you much on the state of your car and anything else that needs to be taken care of. They will be there to take your money when the next disaster hits.
