Businiess name:  Max Lager's American Grill & Brewery

Review content:
With all of the dining options available to visitors of Atlanta, Downtown is often overlooked. However, if you want to drink some quality microbrews and dine on continental offerings with a Southern flare, Max Lager’s is the place. You can park across the street at a discounted rate (Inquire with staff). The décor is industrial and cheery. I enjoyed a meal at the bar. The bartender was courteous and knowledgeable. It was a chilly December afternoon, so I started with a cup of Gumbo and a Gold Lager. The Gumbo warmed me with its flavors and healthy chunks of chicken & sausage. The lager balanced with it well. The bartender informed me of the days lunch special and did little else to influence my decision. The Beef Brisket Tacos sounded too good to pass up. Ronnie, the bartender, suggested a Brown Ale to go with the tacos. Again, another good call. The tacos were served with a side of corn salsa and green chili sauce. For dessert, I enjoyed a Max Abbey. It was flavorful and delicious with a hint of sweetness at the finish. Insofar as exceeding my expectations, I would have to give this experience “Two Thumbs Up!” Pros: Beer Selection Cons: none during this visit
